A little peek into my smallest project yet--customizing a 1/144th scale Victorian farmhouse into a renovated modern home. Check back often for progress posts and the final reveal.

  2. Holy smokes. That's amazing! And how had I not come across you blog before...sigh. I have a Greenleaf orchid kit in 1:12 and a 1:48 cabin I plan to assemble (eventually) this year and kill its traditional vibe with modern interiors. Your 1:48 work is getting me excited to start!

    1. Aww, thanks so much! I don't think I've seen a 1:48 cabin before and with your interior talents a modernized one would be pretty stellar. Looking forward to it!

  3. Here are 2 more sites with 1:48 goods for you. 1) Melissa's miniwereld https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/melissasminiwereld. She does laser cut cardboard (also has a website Laserville with more items). I have lots of her 1:12 and 1:24. It's almost MDF in its stability. 2) Taffy & Me Creations http://www.taffyandme.com. The site is a disaster but I've seen the complete line in person and the 1:48 items are brilliant! Just email her if you want to see more and she'll send you images. Almost all the items on the site can be made in 1:48 if listed in 1:12. And she has small cottages too and available door/trim kits with the sets.

    1. Thank you so much for the tips. Both of those have some lovely kits - would make a nice blog feature for next month! Taffy and Me has some of the nicest coffee tables and room dividers I've seen. I've added both links to the list of dealers on the right toolbar of the blog.
